Tulsa FirePAC Endorses Echols for Attorney General

Tulsa, OK – Today, Attorney General Candidate Jon Echols held a press conference and made a major announcement with First Responders from the Tulsa area. The Echols Campaign is proud to share that the Tulsa FirePAC has officially endorsed Jon Echols in the race for Attorney General. In their endorsement, Tulsa FirePAC President Matt Lay applauded Echols for his actions.

In attendance at today’s press conference were: Sheriff Vic Regalado, Sheriff Bret Bowling, Sheriff Scott Walton, Sheriff David Dean, Sheriff Heath Winfrey, Members of the IAFF Local 176, Brandi Pond with Oklahoma Non-Profit EMS, and Michael Korb and Dustin Lott of the Professional Firefighters of Oklahoma.

“There is one candidate that truly stands out as the ideal Attorney General for the State of Oklahoma and that is Jon Echols. Jon has a rare combination of deep Oklahoma roots, legal expertise, and a commitment to conservative values that will protect our rights and our security.” Sheriff Vic Regalado said.

TulsaPAC President Matt Lay stated “Firefighters know what it means to trust someone with your life. We know who we can count on when it matters most, that is Jon Echols.

Speaking about the importance of supporting First Responders, Echols said, “Public safety is not a 9-to-5 job. These are men and women that put it all on the line for us.

This endorsement marks another major accomplishment in the campaign’s growing support from Oklahoma’s First Responder Community. The backing of Tulsa FirePAC which represents both active and retired Tulsa Firefighters from IAFF Local 176 adds to a strong partnership that already includes more than 40 County Sheriffs, the State Fraternal Order of Police, the Oklahoma Retired Firefighters Association, the Professional Firefighters of Oklahoma, and the Oklahoma City Professional Firefighters.
