Oklahoma City, OK – Today, the Jon Echols Campaign for Attorney General was proud to announce their latest endorsement. The Oklahoma City Retired Firefighters Association officially endorsed Echols in his race for AG in a statement by Association President, George Fina.
“Jon Echols has a proven record of supporting all first responders during his time in the legislature; including those who are retired. He is consistent in his values, and he will carry that steadfast support for First Responders to the AG’s office. The Oklahoma City Retired Firefighters are proud to endorse Jon Echols for Attorney General,” said Fina.
“I am truly honored to have their support,” Echols said in response to the endorsement. “Our first responders put their lives on the line to keep our families and communities safe. The word ‘safer’ is first in my campaign motto, because without public safety you don’t have anything. I was proud to support our first responders as Floor Leader, and I will have their back as Attorney General.”
This endorsement is just the latest in a long line of endorsements Echols has received from the first responder community. Those endorsements include 26 county sheriffs, the State Fraternal Order of Police, the Professional Firefighters of Oklahoma, and the Oklahoma City Professional Firefighters.
