Oklahoma City, OK – In a major announcement yesterday, the Oil and Gas Workers Association (OGWA) endorsed Jon Echols in his race for Oklahoma Attorney General. The endorsement comes as Echols continues to build a massive coalition of support.
The OGWA is a conservative grassroots independent trade organization that works to “secure, grow, and sustain American oil and gas jobs and fighting for American workers.”
Commenting on the endorsement, Echols said “The oil and gas industry is critical to our amazing state. I am thankful for the endorsement of a great conservative grassroots organization like the OGWA. I appreciate all the amazing work they do and look forward to standing strong with the amazing men and women who work every day to keep Oklahoma and the nation powered.”
In announcing their endorsement of Echols, the Association released the following statement:

Jon Echols is a 5th-generation Oklahoman, an accomplished attorney, a small business owner, and is the former Majority Floor Leader of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. Holding the title for 8 years, he is the longest-serving Floor Leader in Oklahoma history. Jon has a proven track record of conservative leadership and is running for Attorney General to make Oklahoma safer, freer, and stronger.
